I had solid oak worktops fitted today. I wiped out the cupboards above and, a couple of hours later, found water stains on the worktops where I had left drops af water and a bigger area where I had left the damp cloth for a minute.
The worktops had been given 3 coats of oil by the manufacturers.
I didn’t know that not a drop of water must ever touch the surface. How do I shift the stains and how do I clean it without water?
