We have dry clean only sofa. I've wased all the sofa cushions sucessfully but I don't think the cover which covers the whole of the huge L shape sofa will come off and even if it did it would be too big to wash and I'd be terrified it wouldn't go back on again, but it smells really stale.
I am wondering about buying a hand held steam cleaner and wonder if using this will make sofa smell any better?
