‘Reshape while damp’

I’ve just washed my mortifyingly expensive lovely new merino wool baselayer and t-shirt for running. The instructions say to reshape while damp and dry flat, which I am used to doing with jumpers. But these are thin and they’ve done that twisting thing that t shirts do in the wash. I can’t reshape my way out of that, can I? I was just about to buy another set, but I’m having doubts now. Any insights?

Oh no. Hopefully they aren't beyond repair, OP.

Bumping this for you in case any more experienced laundry wizards are about.

I resize shrunken jumpers using conditioner, and dry on a frame! I made one using some stainless cooling trays taped together to get the size I need. I wrap a towel round so the grid pattern doesn't leave a mark. Just align the seams with a straight edge and leave to dry.

Considering the current weather I'd just put it on until it's dry!

God I remember doing that with jeans!
