Who does all the cleaning??

I have a 8 week old baby and I feel like I do so much stuff around the house and my partner does nothing. Can I ask who does the cleaning in your house?
Every morning I have to pick up his clothes and shoes from the day before, dirty towels from shower in the bathroom, ironing board he used for work clothes.
Appreciate I'm off work right now but I feel like he's just being really lazy. AIBU?

I do the bulk of it but no way would I be picking up after my partner. If he did that to me I would feel it was a) lazy and b) bloody disrespectful.

I do most of the cleaning as I am a sahm and my DH works full time. He will do his bit when he's at home though.

I wouldn't be happy if I had to pick up after him.

Did he leave his clothes on the floor before you had the baby?

Stop picking up after him. If his wet towel is in your way dump it on top of his clothes floordrobe. If it’s not, just leave it there.

I’m on maternity leave at the moment and we both clean and tidy, as we always have. We both live here and neither of us wants to live in a shit hole.

I am a SAHM, DH makes Dinner sometimes and washes up other than that I do EVERYTHING but I would NEVER pick up DH dirty clothes! If they don't go in the wash basket they stay dirty... your not his slave!

Picking someone else's towel up is not cleaning. If you are planning to bring up your child to put their pants in the laundry basket, your DH needs to be putting his own pants in the laundry basket.
