HELP - heat pump dryer

I am looking for a new tumble dryer and owing to the location it will have to be a heat pump one. I know that these take longer to dry clothes than traditional vented machines, but I can’t bear the thought of waiting eight hours for a load to dry (as per some reviews). Does anyone have one that they’d recommend please?

We had a £££ one. It was appalling.

Get a heated clothes rack from Lakeland instead.

We've got a Candy one. It's my first tumble drier so I can't compare it to a non heat pump one. You can dry clothes to various levels of 'hang dry' damp, or completely dry which is the longest setting and it takes about 3 hours. Definitely never 8 hours! It automatically shortens the time if you have a small load too.
We're a family of 5 and even with it being used daily through winter we haven't noticed much electric use either.
