I'm open to not having a toilet brush. What do you do when it needs a good scrub?

Pour the harpic in the black bottle down and leave while we are at work all day/ asleep all down there and leave? X

You mean I should buy a product in a single use plastic bottle that is more expensive per use than a toilet brush?

Not convinced by that.

Well technically, if you get 10 cleans per Harpic bottle, it's not single use.

Personally, I'd rather have a toilet brush than not.

The whole "no toilet brush" idea is absolutely ridiculous. Things happen sometimes and the bog needs scrubbing. If you don't have an implement dedicated to it, you're going to have to improvise and do a worse job and have something else to get rid of/clean.

Buy a brush, use a brush, rinse the brush off in the flush, if you're feeling squeamish squeeze a bit of bleach/whatever in the loo after and give the brush a swirl in that before putting it back in the holder. Job done.

You do need a brush regardless of what you have poured into it there is the upper rim that you can’t see that has all the crap in from when it’s flushed.
