Best thing for cat smell removal

My elderly cat is not the best at grooming or using the tray currently. I feel our house has that awful catty smell. Hoovering hairs and cleaning accidents promptly but the smell or thought it may smell is driving me bonkers. What’s best to clean wee/poo of laminate or carpet and then freshen it up?? Nobody says it smells but they wouldn’t I guess!

Try an enzyme cleaner. Pets at home sell them

Thanks- is this a floor thing? Might be inground I guess. I might get pads for under the litter tray too. I can’t afford a new floor!

Can be used on hard floors and carpets

A solution of biological washing powder. It gets rid of the ammonia smell in cats pee.

Oh that’s brill too. I’ve used that for sick in carpets so makes sense!
