Storing clothing mould-free long-term

Hi,

I'm after some advice from the experts on here, regarding storing unused clothing long-term in a built-in bedroom wardrobe without further mould forming.

The clothing has been washed in vinegar/water in washing machine to remove/kill mould spores & smells & then a further hot wash to kill any remaining mould spores off, being thoroughly dried afterwards for a few days.

Once completely dry, I have placed in air-tight black plastic bin liners tightly sealed & placed in large plastic storage boxes with lids.

I am hoping this will prevent any further mould spores from contaminating the clothing in future, though I do have a huge lingering concern that when I do open these bags in say a years time, they will be completely infested & covered in mould, rather than as fresh & dry as the day they were stored away. Are air-tight plastic bags the best way to store clothing ?

I would really appreciate peoples thoughts & opinions on whether this will work, or not.

Thank you very much for any replies
