What is causing these marks on our washing?

For the last six months or so, our washing has been coming out of the machine with strange marks on it. Tends to be blueish marks on pale clothes (such as in attached pic) and orange coloured marks on dark clothes.

What could be causing this?! Some sort of dirty part within the washing machine perhaps? It's only about 18months old.

Our clothes are coming out looking dirtier than when they went in! So many nice outfits ruined, white sheets with blue blobs all over them...

What is causing these marks on our washing?

Probably a build up of muck and detergent in your machine! Use an in- wash machine cleaner (with no laundry in, obvs.) Stick your dispenser drawer in the dishwasher and scrub out any grungy bits. Rub around the seal with an anti-bacterial cleaner and get rid of any lingering dirt. Bleach is probably too strong as it might rot the seal or get on your laundry.

Is your detergent or fabric conditioner in these colours? Can build up and cause stains apparently.

What products are you using?

I take the drawer out and wash it, also inside the cavity of the drawer including the ceiling which gets seriously grim 🤢
Also I sometimes do an empty cycle with bleach or vinegar and bicarbonate

Give your door seal a clean. I had these marks, I wiped over the door seal and it was disgusting! As I pulled out the clothes the yuck from the seal rubbed the clothes.

Thanks everyone! I'll try all of those.

Just using standard fairy tablets NearlySchoolTimeAgain and occasionally vanish powder in the drawer.

Anyone know if it's possible to get these stains out?!
