Ikea sewing machine

I have an Ikea sewing machine and find it very fiddly, constantly have to stop and take the bobbin in and out. Is this a common problem of sewing machines in general? Should I consider buying a different one? I'm only a hobbyist sewer but it's really so frustrating

Why do you need to take it in and out?
Is it threaded properly?
I don't have an Ikea sweing machine.

Is the tension set properly and the stitch length?
Honestly though, spend a couple of quid on a basic brother machine cos the IKEA will break your heart and you wont enjoy your hobby
The bobbin should work smoothly if it's a new machine.

Search on line for bobbin problems. I had a quick look and it seems loading the bobbin is a little confusing.
