Dreams Therapur Mattress

Looking for some feedback if anyone has the above mattress. Tried it in store and loved it but have seen mixed reviews on the Dreams website.
It’s the one with the ‘actigel’ layer. Supposed to keep you cool. Some reviews saying it’s ends up lumpy and uncomfortable, some say it’s the most comfortable mattress they have ever had!
Would love to hear from anyone on here with their reviews.
TIA

My husband and I just visited the Dreams store looking for a mattress. The one we liked the most was the Therapur Actigel 1600 (very firm). I haven't heard anything about the brand so I was hesitant to buy on the spot. Still need to do more research.

I went ahead and bought the mattress. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I can honestly say that I love it. So comfortable.

I know this is a zombie thread but considering buying the mattress. From reviews it seems they sag after a while. What was your experience @Paisley2018? Thanks

Paisley2018 · 11/07/2021 16:08

I haven’t experienced any sagging with mine. I’m still very happy with it and would recommend it.

Amazing @Paisley2018 I didn't think you'd be here to comment. The one I've seen is a 3200 actigel one with a topper on. Is yours similar

Paisley2018 · 11/07/2021 16:21

I can’t remember exactly what model it is. All I know is I went for firm and it has the actigel layer. I turn it regularly and make sure I air it everyday. Some people had said it has a smell but I have never noticed a smell with mine. I bough the pillows that were supposed to be cooking also but I think they have lost their effectiveness.

Ahhh thanks for taking the time to reply.

No problem - glad to help. Make sure you check out the sale section of the Dreams website. We got ours online for a lot cheaper than instore.

We have had one of these mattresses for six years. It has discoloured badly and sags with a noticeable central ridge. Despite this these have been discounted by Dreams Insurance company as “normal wear and tear and discolouration commensurate with its age”. We would not buy this product again.

Interesting! Ours is now 5 years old and I have noticed that it is very discoloured! I haven’t noticed any sagging though and still find it to be a comfortable mattress. I don’t think the ‘gel’ does anything though - or maybe lost its effectiveness. Will be shopping for a new one in the next couple of years.
