Sorry if this has been done,

Im tempted to try vinegar, as Im tired of all the cleaning products that make me sneeze (incl 'green' products)

Does vinegar leave an odour? I cant imagine it being stench-free

also, if it works for you - which vinegar do you use?

thankyou

White vinegar - and it doesn't leave a smell.

is this malt white vinegar, i wondered myself.

Oh blimey, I'm not sure. I just pick up the cheapest clear stuff Tesco's has to offer.

white vinegar and lemon juice. My friend swears by them and her house is lovely and sparkling clean. No vinegar smell!

you can clean almost anything with it, i mix it with water in a spray bottle and use it for cleaning,it also makes an excellent deodoriser, just spray it round like you would fabreeze :-) or a few neat drops in the nappy bin takes away the smell altogther. I've been amazed at what it can do,the vinegary smell goes after a few mins:-)

I use distilled white vinegar, rtaher than malt. But would go with the cheapest!

Don't use vinegar on brass plated stuff like taps (Anthea tip... I swear it's the only episode I ever watched!).

We get ours for a good price from a fruit-veg grocer, 5 litres for £1.69.

That's pickling vinegar, I suppose it does smell a bit, but A) smell fades fast and B) I prefer that smell to the perfumes they put in other household chemicals, anyway.
