How to remove a burn stain from kitchen countertop?

Left a hot pan on the counter overnight and it's left a huge burn stain. Anyone with any tips of how to remove as much of it as possible bar getting a new countertop? I think it's plastic laminate.

Perhaps try to gently buff out with an abrasive cleaner like CIF cream cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend. Depends on how deep the scorching is really.
