Best rubber gloves 🧤

I’d be grateful for your recommendations if the best rubber gloves for washing up general cleaning. I buy cheap ones sometimes if I think I’ll want to throw them away but for every day use I want something that protects me hands from heat, chemicals and moisture and is pleasant / not irritating on the inside

I tried Lakeland ones once (we don’t have a Lakeland nearby). I think they were white and they were very nice. I’d be tempted to order some of those online if there are no other suggestions...

I love the Lakeland ones - usually on a 3 for 2 deal and I get the moisturizing ones

Black ones in Wilko, seen Tesco selling them too. They last forever.

You look like an acid bath killer though.

I got some from B&M that have a sort of fabric lining but it comes out and then you can’t line up the lining with the glove sleeve if that makes sense

Marigolds are the BEST (and believe me I've tried many) I live in them for everything, the yellow ones, are the most hardwearing, the pale green longer sleeved ones are ok but not as hard wearing. They're certainly worth the extra money.

i sometimes wear those cotton gloves you can buy in Boots inside if it's hot outside and I need to do sweaty work.

They have a good lining that is unnoticeable. Even the cats don't mind being groomed when I'm wearing them!

I’ve used the normal marigolds and they’re ok

I liked the look of these sensitive ones. I think they are extra long. They’re quite a bit cheaper than the Lakeland ones

If you can find better let me know! Do you prefer the sensitive ones? I've never tried them, I'll get dh to buy me some in England.

I’ve only ever tried the normal yellow Marigolds and I liked them but I think the Lakeland ones were the nicest ones I’ve tried. They’re quite expensive though and I like to be able to switch to a new pair often. I’ve just ordered these sensitive ones from amazon just because I haven’t tried those ones and they’re longer too. They might. If he as hard wearing though 🤔 I nearly ordered the bathroom ones too but didn’t. I’ll let you know! Thanks for the replies.

Where do you get the Lakeland ones, on line? Are they harder wearing than the Ms?

I previously bought them in a Lakeland shop (we were in another town where there was one, there isn’t one very local to where we live) and I don’t know if they were more hardwearing but they were just more luxurious. The inside felt really nice, they were much more pleasant to wear is all. TBH Ms are good but recently I used some cheaper yellow rubber gloves and they just felt rubbery and horrible on my hands and so it made me want the Lakeland ones!

Like you I like to switch, I hate them smelly! DM's (when she used to do housework) always smelt horrible! I also turn them inside out with a cotton glove when the right ones goes (which it invariably does ) annoyingly.
