It's 18 years old and first time this has been a problem but noticed some black mould on the front seal . Vinegar or any another magic thing I should be using?

Some biological washing powder, an old tooth brush & some elbow grease seemed to have sorted mine out.

HG Mould Spray

I have HG spray, bit worried about any getting on clothes though of I don't remove it properly! I could do an empty wash I suppose.

Will try some washing powder first.

ThanksSmile

  1. Wipe off as much as you can with washing powder and white vinegar.
  1. Run machine with a small amount of bleach at a high temperature and repeat 1.
  1. Always dry the seal area when wash has finished to avoid mould growing.
  1. Leave machine door open between washes. Same for detergent drawer.

Thanks!

Weird it's just started happening when I've had it for 18 years.

I use HG mould spray too and run a really hot wash with soda crystals every now and then. I don't/cant leave my machine door open as it is integrated and we would walk into it!
