I've only lived in a house for a year after years of renting.
We have patches of planting areas right in front of the kitchen (front of the house) and right by the front door (the hallway is next to the small kitchen).
I've seen baby slugs pop in and out but today I found a bigger one in the kitchen. Ewwww.
I want to avoid the use of chemicals but I need to block their entrance. The front door seems to have a gap underneath. And there is also a 'dip' directly under the door when it is closed (a metal strip which dips) which seems to be a fun hiding place for ants too last week when it was raining like today.
I want to close the gap by the door so they can't get into the dip. How can I seal the front door from inside and also outside?
I'm not a fan of these things coming into the house. 👎
