How to get rid of a damp smell

It’s definitely located upstairs, we had a leaking toilet (bleugh) so that is all sorted and I’ve looked everywhere for any other leaks.

But the smell persists. Any hints/tips on getting rid?

I would guess at damp floorboards? A dehumidifier is probably a good start.

I think you’re right. It’s the stairs carpet I think.
