How does an oilcloth apron compare to a PVC-cotton apron?

My Ulster Weavers cotton-backed PVC apron has lasted nearly 20y of daily use. I replaced the strap and the ties, but the apron itself is finally wearing out. I like the fact that it is waterproof and wipes clean, but find it a tad rigid when I sit down with it on.

They also do oilcloth aprons, but I cannot find much info about them. Does anyone have an Ulster Weavers oilcloth apron? Are they fully waterproof? Does tomato sauce or curry stain them? Are they rigid like PVC or drapey like cotton?

(Oh my thrilling life! Grin)

I would also like to know the answer to this LifeisGood! Anyone out there who can help?

I'd also like a recommendation for an oil cloth tablecloth that doesn't eventually turn pink due to repeated interfaces with pasta sauce if anyone can help with that too!

oil cloth tablecloth that doesn't eventually turn pink due to repeated interfaces with pasta sauce Oh that doesn't sound too good.
