Garden tap water

Is garden tap water safe to drink?
Dd has been filling her cup up with it this afternoon as I presumed it was the same as drinking water from the kitchen. In fact the tap comes off of the kitchen pipe work.
DH thinks she shouldn’t be drinking it.

And before anyone asks, I have googled. But mostly USA sites come up.

It should be fine, if it comes from the same pipe as the kitchen sink it is the same water. The only time I'd avoid is if the house is old the pipes going to the garden are lead.

House about 10 years old so she should be safe then!
