Washing machine that has a hand wash programme + great stain removal?

I am looking for a new washing machine asap.

I have a lot of hand wash/delicate/wool clothes and I want to reduce the time spent hand washing etc where possible. Also, with children, excellent stain removing capabilities is a must.
I also like the idea of having a lot of user control over the machine (temperature, spin speed etc).

I have been looking at the LG Direct Drive as it seems to tick a few boxes but I can't find out anything definitive about whether it has a hand wash programme or equivalent (probably not?).
Bosch Series 6
Samsung Quick Drive (I have heard the foaming properties of the ecobubble function may irritate eczema and allergies?)

We have an open plan kitchen so would prefer something reasonably quiet that doesn't vibrate and shake too noticeably.

Previous washing machines have been Hotpoints and Bekos and while Ok I haven't been wowed by their washing ability or longevity and would prefer to spend a bit more this time in the hope of getting something more reliable (and quieter!) with more functions (not too gimmicky though).

Thanks for your help!

Hi @greekyogurtaddict

Had washing machines from all 3 brands you've mentioned, for one reason or another, seemed to have changed my washer a lot in the last 10/15 years (more so than any other appliance).

LG - these are great, if you go for one of the higher end ones (which it sounds like you are), they have a feature called "6 motion", basically the drum has 6 agitation profiles and can move in different ways depending on cycle (eg cradling, swing, scrub), hope I'm explaining it right, but you can see what I mean HERE.

Some also come with steam option, which is supposed to help with stain removal and there is a dedicated steam cycle for freshening up etc, so would fit your need of different cycles and stains removal. The LG I bought is still going strong at DSis house about 7 years later.

Bosch - again great (my current washer is a Bosch), always been very happy with Bosch, clean very well, robust, quiet in operation and have always seemed to last the longest (but understand can be hit a miss with more recent models - even if from brands that have a good reputation for longevity).

Samsung - STAY AWAY, the eco bubble is a complete gimmick, and you will not get longevity from these, in the 2 I have owned, one (the top of range £1200 for so one) went from brand new to dead as a dodo in 7 MONTHS! Other one developed a motor fault about 20 months in, it did get fixed but the horrors of the first one (6 engineer visits and the absolute frustrating experience of dealing with Samsung customer service - they DO NOT stand behind their products) put me off keeping it, so was gifted to SIL as she needed a washer. Samsung make great technology, but I'd be extremely hard pushed to buy an appliance from them ever again.
