Transfer stains on white towels from a black item HELP

I washed my white bathroom towels and tea towels on a 70 degree wash and just threw in a pair of white knickers as it was a white wash. Unfortunately the white knickers had a black trim and so it has transferred black splodgy marks on my lovely towels and not just a tiny bit either.

Does anyone know a tip to removing these marks or will just returning them to a hot wash restore them to whiteness again? The towels also have a coloured striped edge but never had a problem washing them on a 70 before.

I'd so appreciate any thoughts of how to rectify this so I don't mess them up even more. Don't want to risk bleaching as there is a coloured stripy bit on one end.

Try a colour run remover

Thank you. Have ordered a box so fingers crossed it works. Looks like the same format that catches the colour in the 1st place but in reverse - oh how I wish I'd used one of those colour catcher sheets [hindsight eh]

Colour run remover package has arrived and it's not a remover, it's just a sheet to catch the colour in the first place so very misleading but I still gave it a go and put two sheets in. Have washed once on a 70 degree then again with vanish spray on a 60 degree but no difference.

Any other ideas?

It's normally a liquid.

You might have some luck with Glowhite. I am sure that I read you need the keep the items wet and not let dye run dry.
