This has appeared on my pillow, I don't wear make up in bed and I can't think of what else it would be

Is it a freshly washed one? Looks a bit like mould maybe - looks quite dotty when I zoom in.

Oh god 😩 I do live in a flat but the air doesn't feel damp?

I open the windows every day and the curtains/blinds are open until evening

Can't be mascara as I don't own anyway... it's probably mould and it's making me feel poorly!😩

Mould I'd say, was it left damp in the washing machine for to long ?

Is it from your washing machine? When my old machine was giving up it used to put random black marks on clothes. Unsure if it was mould or oil but since having a new machine the problem has stopped.
