Melted plastic stuck to hob -WHat do i do?

Any ideas? Am scraping it off but what can i get the last bit of residue off with?

is it cold? if not wait until it is solid and use something like a paint scraper? (mind you don't ding your hob though!)

Ooops! I've no idea, I'm a cm not a cleaning godess! Have you tried switching the hob on so that it warms up again and maybe it'll lift a bit easier?

hmmm,what else? nail varnish remover? it's pretty strong though, what's your hob made of?

Managed to scrap it all off - PHEW!!!
