Public spitting

I live in a old house that is straight onto a public path and am sick of people spitting on the path I know it's public but it's disgusting and unhygienic.

I hate it everywhere but at my house it's horrible

Just caught a work van stopped at the front and a young guy jumped out lit a fag and I saw him spit 9 times till I lost it and opened the door and said "could you stop spitting in front of my house" he said " yeah sorry" went red faced and jumped back in his van he obviously knew it was wrong it's just gross.

Sorry for the rant people.

I hate spitting. I have never felt the need to spit anywhere, other than when cleaning my teeth. But assuming others have, I don't know, particularly aggressive saliva, can they not do it in a tissue and then bin it?

YANBU, OP.

I find it really disgusting too, it turns my stomach. I can understand you not being happy about people doing it beside your home.

Spitting in public is disgusting. Occasionally (it isn’t a regular occurrence luckily) my Oh does it and it makes me cringe!!

Once as a child, I was walking along somewhere with my mum and an adult spit and it landed on my brothers foot or something. She went ballistic and started a full on row with him 🤣

I hate it. I can’t disguise the look of disgust on my face seeing men spitting onthe floor.
I have once or twice called them disgusting..

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 23/05/2019 14:27

A man spat on dd’s pram when she was little. I do t think I have ever felt rage quite like it.
I managed to get ‘clean that off’ out through gritted teeth as I handed him a wet wipe. I couldn’t say any more because I would have lost it.
It’s a foul and unnecessary thing to do. Envy

ByeGermsByeWorries · 23/05/2019 14:30

Disgusting, especially when they make that snorting hawking noise to accompany the spitting Angry

agirlhasnonameX · 23/05/2019 14:34

It's disgusting I don't understand the need at all, most people who do it don't seem to have the same need when they're at home.

Once saw a man cycling and he spat as he went past me, but the wind blew it back and it landed on his jacket 😂

It’s my number one hate! I always give the culprit dagger looks and at very least mutter loudly. I don’t know what goes through their minds!
