Washing Machine

I am looking for a new washing machine.
I'd like a 9kg load with 1400 spin
Budget £300 or less
I have had a hotpoint Aquarius 7kg loaf 1600 spin for 6 years and the drum has gone. Otherwise no other issues until now. Repair man said it would be best to buy new.
Also he recommended not to get another 1600 spin as they wear quickly.
Any suggestions would help.
I have looked at a hoover 9kg load 1400 spin for £299 but would like to know if anyone has one and would they recommend.

I'm on the lookout for the exact same thing as you!
I'm thinking of a Bosch or AEG, maybe even a Samsung.
Interested to read other feedback!

Went for the hoover 9kg and it's fantastically quiet. Quick wash takes 15 mins.
Only downside is the washing powder drawer does not come out far enough in my opinion but so far so good.

I’m looking too. Interesting that the 1600 wears out quicker. I would like a quick (maybe 60 mins max) wash with max spin. I believe some quick washes do a lesser spin, maybe it’s the 15/30 mins wash ones? The more you research the harder it gets!
