Dishwasher owners (the mechanic type, not human). Do you rinse the dishes before you put them in the washer. Not just scrape the crud off, but rinse them?

oh good - I have visited 2 houses recently where this is considered the norm.

Thought I was a slattern (no, actually I know I'm a slattern - just thought maybe I'd sunk to new depths
