Washing printed t shirts

How do you wash band tour-type t shirts with plasticy printing? I have always put them in with everything else on a 30 degrees cotton cycle, but the plastic print doesn't last very long before it starts to split, so I wondered if there's a way to preserve it for longer?

Do you turn it inside out?

It does depend on the quality of the print.
But inside out on at 30 with a gentle (1000 or under) spin should work.
As long as they don't go in the tumble dryer after.

Hand wash them, it's only takes 2 mins, spin it then hang it in the airing cupboard.

Thanks - it's never occurred to me to turn them inside out or have a low spin speed - will give that a try and possibly handwash the really precious ones. Thanks for the answers.
