Nail Varnish Removal

Red nail varnish is the devil at the best of times but ive just managed to make a huge red scratch on the top of my recently bought white Cotswold company dressing table!!
Does anyone know any tricks I can try urgently please before DH gets home!!

Nail polish remover on a cotton bud?

Window cleaner gets it out of Carpet, maybe try that? Xx

@lbocs2 - thank you this may be an option! Do you think It’s soft enough that it won’t take the shine/varnish off (it’s the painted wood type furniture) I made that error with nail varnish remover on previous furniture :/
