Stupid Question re cleaning with Vinegar

I've started using a bit of vinegar to clean with and I love it - find it really useful. Only thing is the smell! Those of you who use vinegar for cleaning, have I bought the wrong sort? I've got a large bottle of Clear Distilled vinegar but it does smell like a chip shop! Is there another kind I should be looking for?

Thanks

I think you're meant to put it in a jar with chopped lemon and leave it for two weeks for the oils to absorb? 🍋

Personally I just roll with the vinegar smell, it only lasts for a hour (or I get used to it and stop noticing) 😂

I use vinegar for mirrors and bathroom tiles/shower, then diluted eucalyptus oil everywhere else - that stuff smells amazing

The smell goes very quickly. But my Partner was moaning so I stuck in a bit of Zoflora and it still works but smells better. Not quite as less chemical though. I just prefer the grease cutting of pure vinegar.

You can add essential oils to the vinegar I do a 50 50 mix of water and vinegar and then add oils to it I use lemon or eucalyptus oil.

Thanks all - I thought I might have lost the plot and be using the wrong sort of vinegar! I do have zoflora so can try that but also will add lemon and eucalyptus oils to the shopping list as I'm trying to move away from strong chemicals for this as I use it to clean my shower cubicle while I'm in the shower!

Use White Vinegar not distilled vinegar. Get it for Savers or somwhere for less than £1.
