Shiny Windows!!

I just cleaned the windows. They look lovely, but there's no way anyone else will notice unless I point it out (you know, the windows thing: everyone notices if they're dirty, no-one notices if they're clean!) Please can someone admire them for me? TiA

Ooh, I'm tempted to clean mine but i'm decluttering.

Wow @Mesmeri look at your windows! How did you get them so shiny?

PlumCakeChica · 02/05/2019 13:32

Any tips, mine are awful

Thank you, friends! I'm so happy you noticed! I used to drive tour coaches, so it was a bit of an obsession/professional pride in those days. Back then I swore by cheap vinegar and newspaper, plus a clean, soft rag for polishing. These days I only clean in the house and I'm a bit posher - I use a steam cleaner and lots of clean rags. Same results, but much quicker with the steamer and you don't smell of vinegar after. But either way, it's all about the rags (your windows can only be as clean as your cleanest cleaning rag!)

Thank you. Clean rags it is then 👍

Need to do mine. Do you do the inside and outside? I only do the inside and always mean to get a window cleaner.. but might give the outside a go too.

Mesmeri · 03/05/2019 15:10

I do inside and outside. Our windows can open inwards so it's easy. Otherwise I would probably need a window cleaner (or a squeegee on a long stick, but it's much harder to get a good finish that way).

Has anyone got a Karcher window cleaner?
