Il admit it I fell hook line and sinker into buying every single cleaning product on the market (slight exaggeration ) and spraying every single surface in my home with a different product and smell , which ended in me having a headache 24/7 . Spending far too much money a week on cleaning products I don't even need and aren't necessary.

I'd also like to point out certain accounts the way they clean and have extremely tidy houses gave me extreme anxiety about the way my house looked . I have a nice house (I think anyway) but I didn't have one of "their" houses and it got me really down , striving for perfection in my home that I was never going to reach because it isn't possible especially when you have kids .

This past week I've stopped buying all the products and using them and my head feels so much better and so does my bank balance .

Now I've had that rant 😂 what is best for making your house smell nice ? Which isn't dangerous for the environment or our health ? Apart from opening windows for fresh air . I have two kids in nappies so the lingering smell of poop happens on a daily basis and I also own a dog that likes to break wind a lot , always conscious of my house stinking !

I don't like artificial smells at all, so I open the windows whenever I can and I have a scented Jasmine plant in the kitchen which makes the whole house smell lovely.

I'm not on Instagram. Is Mario an Italian Glaswegian?

I took a look at the Mrs Hinch book and it seemed a bit odd, tbh. Washing your curtains every week and your pet's bedding daily seems excessive, although I understand she is open about having some MH issues.

@everythingisginandroses. No I don't think he is actually, he looks as if from the U.K, just assume his parents must like the name (I'm almost 100% it's his actual name as he does stories on his ongoing dental work and when he shows stuff from the dentist it has mario on the name card)

Try switching to a different dog food to see if your pet can digest it better?

Have you tried cleaning your hoover filters and then putting a few drops of essential oil on the filter?

Putting the nappies straight into the outside bin and bathing the dog might help too Smile

I've been looking into natural products. I was recently talking to my dad who said, how bad the chemicals are in these so called cleaning products.
So I've been reading up on creating some of my own and it's actually quite easy.
