Hello

Sorry , not caught up with the thread.

Had a busy morning, my friend came round this morning in a bit of a state, she is having problems at work
Had my hair cut then this afternoon. I love it!! It has been so long since I had a cut I'm really pleased with!

ludaloo · 17/07/2007 16:55

mylastrolo · 17/07/2007 16:57

ludaloo · 17/07/2007 17:02

Oh shouldbe I've just realised your name change...hope you are ok!

Sorry....keep reading the thread then adding bits!

shouldbemorecareful · 17/07/2007 17:07

The spare room isn't going, Luda, it's AWFUL . I found an email from a dear friend so have spent the last 30mins writing a long reply to her and sitting at the desk with my back to the rest of the room! And next I need to make supper for the kids so I'll be abanding it all for tonight I expect!
Glad you like your haircut - is it different to the style you had?

Better go and make supper - stir fry this eve, except I forgot the noodles so it'll be with rice instead.

See you all later/tomorrow

mylastrolo · 17/07/2007 17:09

more positive note d/d sports day cancelled tomorrow due to rain I tell you with my d/h away and i was working and cannot cancel at such short notice as taking off 6 wks so i am relieved that i won't miss it. but sad for them no sports day this year.

shouldbemorecareful · 17/07/2007 17:09

I am OK, thanks Luda but have rather a bad ache in my side that is from twisting to try to save myself whilst falling So annoyed with myself for being so careless and hurting myself, it could have been so much worse, so I guess I was lucky really.

ludaloo · 17/07/2007 17:12

ooooooch

Glad youre ok though

mylastrolo my DD1's sports day was cancelled too...but it was rearranged. I guess there is no time left to rearrange yours?

ludaloo · 17/07/2007 17:15

oh...yes, my hair is a bit different. It is longer now than when we met, and the parting has moved, Its off centre now, and has quite a few layers in it.
I was just about to go on MSN to chat, and change my weemee but realised I was burning the mince!! I'll have to do it later!

shouldbemorecareful · 17/07/2007 17:17

lol - hope to catch you later then, and to see the new haircut

I must go and do supper - kids have been parked in front of the TV for too long this afternoon

Aufish · 17/07/2007 17:55

Have just ordered a new washing machine from Curry's but it won't be delivered until Sunday! It is one that is recommended by the repair man so should last now. My friend has offered to do any washing that I need doing before Sunday which is a relief.

ludaloo · 17/07/2007 18:05

Aufish our washing machine died this time last year...hope you manage to cope until your new one arrives

tortoise · 17/07/2007 19:12

Hi all.
Keeping on top of the house so far,i am glad to say! Even had a friend pop round today.

i have been busy making a yummy choc cake for our end of term toddlers party tomorrow. i offered to make a cake for the adults. I hope they like it.

I wanted to add another cheap holiday idea while I remember it...cinema. Our local Odeon does aa kids club - Morning showings of a PG or U film (not the most current, but not usually anciest) for £1 a child. Adults are free with a child

I think I will take mine to see Mr Bean next week.

I'd forgotten how knackering it is doing everything without DH.

Baby glass crawled backwards tonight....and so the fun begins!

SimplySparkling · 17/07/2007 23:09

Just a quickie as I'm off to bed.

shouldbe I hope you're feeling a fair bit better by tomorrow. Take it easy if not. Ok?

luda I don't know if you'll get my e-mail in time so I'll have to come on the thread early tomorrow to shout out to you. Dh will be calling past your house with 4 boxes tomorrow morning around 7.30am to 8.00am. You're never going to talk to me again when you see just how much there is for you to look through! I'm very pleased you like your hair cut. Can you e-mail me who did it for you, please? Someone in work today recommended someone in Market Street, top of town, I think. I'll take a look. I hope your friend is ok. It isn't our mutual one, is it? I'd hate for things to be getting to her, but it's a tough team to be in as I well know.

Off to bed. Catch you tomorrow.
