Silent waterproof mattress protector ??

I've just bought a new bed and want to protect the mattress for as long as possible.
All mattress protectors I've ever seen or used (in dds bed) have been sort of noisy, you know what I mean? Like that crinkleing (not even sure if that's a word..) sound??
I've noticed it in her bed and it doesn't seem to bother her but would drive me mad over time.
Does anyone know of any silent mattress protectors out there??
It's needs to be waterproof for spills, etc.

This one is quilted and waterproof. My grandmother uses it. She has worked her way through numerous protectors because she didn't like the plastic/crinkly feeling of some of them but she is happy with this one.

It is so funny but creepy that this post has come along today.... last night I put a waterproof mattress protector on my bed as I am due a baby any day. The sound in the night was awful, like sleeping on a crisp packet. Wish I'd have read this first Grin

We have a waterproof towelling mattress cover from John Lewis. Not noisy at all.

You can get a waterproof sheet / protector in one - it's a Spanish brand - isn't cheap but is great quality.
You'd need to have two, so when one is in the wash you can use the other one.
I'm not at home now but will check the brand name when I get home.

The brand is Velfont and the one I got was Respira. It doesn't crinkle Grin noonereally

We have Hippychick ones - waterproof and no rustling. Ours are flat but I think you can get fitted ones too.

I used that exact one and it made me sweat buckets at night had to get rid.
