I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a candle.. lovely as they are! Does anyone have any good alternatives but at a more reasonable price? Thank you!

Afraid not, I’ve tried a few but keep going back to JM! Lovely treat

Aldi do dupes, I've never tried either but they're so cheap so might be worth a try?

SallyOMalley · 18/04/2019 19:57

Not sure if they are any cheaper, but I love True Grace candles. They last for ages and smell gorgeous.

Zoflorabore · 18/04/2019 21:07

I know it's not what you asked but I honestly believe that if we can afford something ( assuming you can do apologies if not ) then it's good to splurge now and again on something you will love.

I justify my love of expensive smelly things by thinking that i don't go out drinking and things like candles make me bloody happy and are therefore good for my MH which can be fragile a lot of the time.

Failing that, Aldi ones are ok :)

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/04/2019 21:08

Aldi.

hellotoyellow · 18/04/2019 21:08

Aldi dupes. Genuinely can't tell the difference with the fake lime basil and mandarin diffuser.

kittybee · 18/04/2019 21:12

Aldi. One of my customers (because money is no object) has Jo Malone candles/hand wash/scented reeds; she also has Aldi. She can’t smell the difference. I just have the Aldi dupes, they’re lovely.

RuggyPeg · 20/04/2019 08:18

Bemused by everyone saying Aldi dupe. It literally throws no scent whatsoever.

Saucery · 20/04/2019 08:24

The Thomas Coles do some beautifully subtle scents, long lasting soy candles and Reed diffusers. Vineyard Candles good too. Neither copy JM but a decent alternative is better than a crappy fake.

I've got the Aldi Lime, Basil and mandarin diffuser, it's nice but you can barely smell it unless you are right next to it.

RuggyPeg · 20/04/2019 08:34

Agree with the Thomas Cole recommendation.

I buy White Company candles. They burn well and have excellent scent. At £20 that feels a reasonable price for a luxury candle.

Nanasueathome · 20/04/2019 09:21

I have JM
I’ve tried tgecAldi dupes and they made my head ache
