Moths in a 100% woolen rug

I have been given a rug which has some minor moth damage. I didn't question too much as to how it's been treated. I had a domestic flea spray and walloped it with that. I have it on a wooden floor atm.
Any more suggestions good ppl?
I have googled it but they just talk about repair. Thus far it's still ok and hardly noticeable.
Any idea? Tia

If you are just wanting to make sure the moths are gone you could fumigate the rug. We got bombs from amazon I'm sure. You set it off and leave the door closed in the room you're treating for a few hours.

Get some proper anti moth carpet spray.
I am still battling the infestation that came into my house in a box of stuff. 4 years ago.
You have to hoover, spray, steam clean and repeat.
Treat your whole house.

Thank you for the replies. So far I dragged it through a tiled hallway into the dining room's wooden floor which is where I zapped it with flea spray. (I have cats, no fleas)
I will follow your advices. It is a lovely rug.
It's worth saving. Smile
