Moths in a 100% woolen rug

I have been given a rug which has some minor moth damage. I didn't question too much as to how it's been treated. I had a domestic flea spray and walloped it with that. I have it on a wooden floor atm.
Any more suggestions good ppl?
I have googled it but they just talk about repair. Thus far it's still ok and hardly noticeable.
Any idea? Tia

Are you worried about moth eggs? Or about the repair?

You should seal it in a plastic bag and stick it in a chest freezer for a week to kill the eggs.

Carpet moths are terrible to get rid of. Most councils have an extermination service, get on to them A.S.A.P. OP

It's only from next. It's the eggs I'm worried about. I wouldn't get it repaired or anything.
How to kill the eggs\larvae. I sprayed it with flea stuff as I have cats.

If I were you I'd spray it again when you think the eggs/larvae will hatch.

On closer inspection I decided the moth problem was worse than described so I've chucked it out Blush
But thanks everyone Flowers
