Argh! How to remove super strength cobwebs?

The Vaccum cleaner is unable to prize these webs that seem to be made of superglue. Any suggestions?

And I've started to see those horrendous enormous spiders around my house again that my kids call tarantulas. Is there anything that works to stop them coming in? Sealed as many cracks as I can find... Regularly declutter Vaccum etc...

Any tips appreciated
Thank you

Try spraying them with a weak solution of vinegar and water, and then wiping them off. The vinegar might break down the spider glue they use.

Some people put conkers into each corner of the room to discourage spiders but I don't know if that works.

Spider spray by amiral around doors and Windows. Works for me.

I have a very high hall/stairs/landing and within a few days of getting out the ladders and removing them with a telescopic damp duste r thing they are back. I'm trying to embrace the gothic look rather than fight it.

Thanks everyone, will try the vinegar solution first plus hard broom.
Going to Google that spider spray now...

If you find any daddy long leg spiders then leave them be, they keep out the big spiders.
