Non-toxic air freshener - does it exist?

Please could you recommend a non toxic air freshener to me if there is such a thing?

Hope so!

Soak cotton wool in essential oils and put behind radiators, when they warm it permeates around the room. Or just here and there in little pots.

Spritz whitevinegar around the room before you go out - it doesn't smell once it dries and eliminates other odours too
