MIELE Dishwasher: Always the Add Salt warning display

My MIELE Dishwasher 3 years old is displaying Add Salt warning every time. Eventhough I make sure enough salt is inside.

Help! Anyone got any suggestion / idea please ?

The sensor for the salt level is probably all gunked up. Run it empty on the hottest cycle with one of those cleaning detergents. I did this with mine and the light went off after.
