Stupid question probably, is there a difference between toilet cleaner and bleach?

Yes. I tend to use toilet cleaner rather than bleach

SleepWarrior · 05/04/2019 15:10

Toilet cleaner generally has added scent and limescale stuff etc

PodgeBod · 05/04/2019 15:12

Toilet cleaner ruins stainless steel, so don't use it in your sink... like I did Blush

holly873 · 05/04/2019 15:15

So they are not exactly one and the same then?

Toilet cleaner doesn't always contain bleach. The one I have has ionic and anionic surfactants instead

ItsAllGone19 · 05/04/2019 15:22

No, and don't mix them.

Mixing bleach with other household chemicals is a good way of testing your ability to breath in poisonous gases.

In fact just don't mix bleach with anything, use it as a standalone product if you have to use it.
