Hi
I have a 5 week old baby and moved in to our new house 2 weeks ago and I should be feeling truly blessed and on top of the world, right?
Well actually I feel anxious and like will my life ever settle back down and will my new house feel like home? We've moved out from parents and finding it hard to adjust can anyone relate ?

I'd ask for the post to be moved to a different section. I hope you are feeling ok and that your new house is starting to feel more like home. It's a lot of upheaval in 3 weeks.

A new baby and a new house are both huge life changing events. It’s would be strange if you did feel on top of things and not unsettled.

We moved house when my baby was 7 weeks old. Be kind to yourself, it's very tough. Don't stress too much about things being done or perfect.

I had to move from a private rental two weeks after having a baby so I know what you mean (they were trying to show buyers around a couple of days after I gave birth!).

It is tough going but it will start to feel more like home soon.

Oh what an upheaval.

You will soon get settled. It took me a year for my house to feel sort of home and that's without a baby.

It will feel like home eventually. Until then just concentrate on your baby and be kind to yourself
