Smelly pillowcases.

How can i wash them? They've been washed at 60° with powder, the machine has been cleaned etc. Nothing else smells, just some old pillowcases. Newer ones don't. Any advice?

Throw them out. Recycle to a rag recycler and don't waste any more mental effort on pillowcases. You've done your best.

Add plenty of white vinegar into the wash

Do you use under pillowcases? I use plain white ones underneath and the ones that match the bedding on top, and change the plain ones about once every three to four weeks. If your pillows smell either wash them, or peg them on the line outside and give them a good spray with Febreeze.

I put napisan in all my baby or hygiene washes (towels bedding etc). Always as fresh as a daisy.

Ha ha! That's basically my life, wasting mental effort on stuff.

Thanks everyone.
