Looking for an ironing board recommendation

Needs to be:

  • Light
  • Suitable for steam generator iron (preferably a designated space for it)
  • able to be hung (probably behind a door)

Thanks!!

I'm looking for an ironing board recommendation as well... mine just fell apart in the most comedy way possible, I pressed the little lever to let the legs down and they just fell off! It was great. I've always hated that ironing board, it was DH's before we moved in together, and it was always shit, despite being more expensive than my Tesco cheapy. I'd buy another Tesco one but I live abroad now so I need a rec of a branded one. I want one that is light, doesn't have an own space for the iron, and can be let down with one hand. And no gubbins along the side like an extra rack or whatever because I'm left handed and that stuff just gets in my way.

Let me know if you find anything decent please!

I ended up buying a Brabantia. They have a of all their different ones. I got the size C one. And they all open smoothly with one hand!

I've not received it yet though so I will update once I've actually used it.
