We bought new sofas a few months ago. They are silver velvet. I have always had washable covers in sofas previously and am in a panic about how to clean them once they start to get grubby. I am really regretting it now, because lovely as they look now, it will not last! Also the cushions are made of the same material which is quite stiff. I can’t wash the covers..
