Watermarks on a highly polished wood surface.

Grrr my brother came to stay this weekend and slept in the room where our prized piano is. He put glasses of water on the piano lid and left 2 great big watermarks on the polished surface.

Does anyone know what I can do to remove them please?

no answer for you - bought something once which was supposed to remove water stains but it didn't. Bumping for you cos I'd like to know too!

Well I suppose a professional French polisher could do it but I really hope someone comes up with a cheaper idea.

Anyone about this evening have a clue?
