I have a Dyson cordless V7 Animal and it's the biggest pile of shit ever and I'm gutted I paid over £300 for it 😭

Can anyone recommend a cheap (preferably under £50) corded vacuum please? My carpets are desperate for a good hoovering!

We have a Dyson cordless and it ruined our new carpet as the pile never get sucked up properly! We have a shark now but they are expensive to, I use a Vax when I clean for my nan and the suction is quite good, i think it was £99 x

I've just been looking at that one in Argos! It's a bit over budget but I might stretch to it. Yes my carpets seem to look horrible ever since we've used the cordless it must be the same issue. Biggest waste of money ever.

Thanks for your reply Smile

Get a Henry, they are about £100 but they are great, there's a reason most cleaners and offices use them!

I don't find expensive ones are any good. I've had 2 Dysons in the past. Also had a Henry but prefer an upright with no bag. So get a Vax pet. My last one has just given up after 5 years so I've got a new one. £99 from Argos.

I second the Henry, bloody brilliant. Mines been going strong for 10 years now. I bought the airo turbo head for it.

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 09/03/2019 11:54

I've had a Henry before and I remember being frustrated with it when he would get stuck on door frames and fall over!

I've ordered the £99 Vax one from Argos. Thanks everyone for your help
