Has anyone else had an dreadful experience with Gaggenau services? We recently after the death of both my in-laws decided to use the money they left to build our own house as I have Lupus and fibromyalgia and mobility issues. We decided as our forever home and for ease of use we would kit our kitchen out with Gaggenau appliances as our home was also German company and they were exceptional. Big big mistake !!! Our kitchen was fitted in November 2017 with 2 ovens ,large fridge freezer ,series 400 gas hob(as only one that lies flat with surface as my hands are bad), and downdraft extractor. We are now March 2019 and we have yet to have a fully functioning kitchen!! EVERY SINGLE APPLIANCE has broken down! One oven the inner glass randomly shattered ,the other wouldn’t turn off, the fridge door hinge broke, and the downdraft extractor has NEVER worked and this is the second one!! Despite the engineer who came last week saying the entire thing needed replacing customer services denied that and sent a specialist engineer here today who has just left unable to fix it saying it needs replacing !!!!! Our garrantee is soon to run out and despite having spoken to the MD nobody seems to care including him !!! So angry, so disappointed any suggestions what to do next please? Contact Germany? Contact lawyer???????

I don't have Gaggenau appliances, but if you want to contact them in Germany, this is the number for customer service +49 89 2035 5366 (it's a landline in Munich).

This is a link to the imprint on their German website:

Gaggenau

This contains more information.

I'd probably send them a very direct letter, registered, that I'd expect a full exchange of all faulty appliances by xx date. I would probably escalate it to Germany as well.

Hope you're having success getting everything replaced.
