Is it better to wash clothes on high or lower spin setting?

What do you mean by better? The higher the speed, the less water there will be left on the clothes. The higher the speed, the more the clothes may get damaged especially delicates. My machine goes up to 1600 soon but I tend to use 1400 for most washes or lower if I'm washing more delicate items
