Upon Cleaning the oven..

Isn't there a nifty trick for getting rid of the chemical smell, obviously before you cook in it again...
anyone?

umm... never clean it?

Ermmm....bicarb of soda is good for odours....put some in a tub in the oven, leave overnight???

Next time use ovenmate it really is a miracle. paint it on, leave for a few hours, wipe effortlessly off wit kitchen roll. no smell,no mess just an oven that looks like brand new! it's unbelievable
