We have a million miss matched towels from over the last 10 years

Tomorrow I'm getting rid and getting all new ones - I'm far too excited about this!

Anyway, how many to get?

It's me, my husband, baby and dog (though baby and dog have their own towels.

We have a downstairs loo, family bathroom and 2 en suites.

I was thinking 6 sets because we have 2 spare double rooms so we wouldn't usually have more than 4 people staying plus 2 bath towels for me and him .
By sets I mean what I call a body towel and a hair towel haha.
I have different hand towels for the downstairs loo.

Is 6 too many or not enough? I don't want to have to get more and be unmatching again!

I have 2 bath sheets (bigger than bath towels) per person, plus a couple of bath towels (for wet hair etc) per person. I only have hand towels in the cloakroom. M&S had 20% off their towels recently and ther3 are loads of colours. I match mine to each bathroom. Also have bath mats to match. Worth buying quality ones as they last years.

I have 3 sets for each person (one in use, one in the wash and one spare). Each set is flannel, hair / hand towel and bath towel. Animals get the cast offs. Guests get 2 sets of cream towels and downstairs loo gets 3 hand towels that match decor.
